Well, as a messaging migration consultant, I ...</title><content type='html'>Hi,&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Well, as a messaging migration consultant, I guess the day had to dawn when I used the Transporter to do a migration.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Like others, I also got the dreaded:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Warning:An item has failed property validation and will be ignored.&lt;br /&gt;IdentifierName: Subject of message in inbox&lt;br /&gt;Error details:Required property is empty.&lt;br /&gt;Property:TargetServer..&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But mine started when I made the change to the web.config file in the EWS folder, to allow larger attachments to pass through...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Hmm..&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Well, I only found my solution once so I&amp;#39;m spreading the word - I opened web.config in Notepad, and just straight saved it and restarted the WWW Publishing service on the CAS Server (Exchange 2007 SP2). It is just what I was looking for to resolve my problem.....but it just suffers from the same problems as all Exchange posts. You can&amp;#39;t understand it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I&amp;#39;m, sorry I&amp;#39;m only 52 years old and I&amp;#39;ve only been in IT for 20 years so I guess I should be expected to know everything about Exchange 2007 (as well as all the other things that went before). I don&amp;#39;t think so. For goodness sake explain your terms and expand on the steps. Some of the steps you are making are not trivial. Tell us what you ACTUALLY did. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;p.s. Exchange Migration is appalling. Can you imagine wanting to buy another house and having to spend 3 weeks trying to transfer the furniture? You&amp;#39;d go and buy a different house. Microsoft really hates it&amp;#39;s customers.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Any other business in the world would make sure it was a piece of cake to transfer from a rival company.
